Webcomic Update: Stick Shift, 2/13/09

We’re in between webcomic updates with Stick Shift this week but I figured I could share a little bonus filler. Over the past week we’ve been tinkering with some new logo designs for Stick Shift. Last year, in the beginning, I cranked a logo out but never really loved it and therefore never did much with it. But I just love this new logo here! It’s a little bit retro with a definite automotive flair. Clean, simple and yet pops right off the page. And hey, how can you go wrong with Red, White and Blue?

This time around we took a more serious approach and came up with a few roughs, cleaned them up, played with colors and came up with the awesome new logo you see above.
